Micrasim use for GIT illnesses

Indications for the use of Micrasim are extremely wide. Micrasim may be recommended fro indigestion, which are caused by the lack of enzymes, foe exocentric insufficiency of the pancreas, for stomach, liver and gallbladder illness, and other illnesses.

1 Chronic pancreatitis

It is an illness when pancreas is affected by inflammation. In case of pancreatitis enzymes, produced by the pancreas, are not discharged to the duodenum, and they cause inflammation of the gland, destroying it from the inside.

In treating chronic pancreatitis, besides diet and preparations, eliminating the causes of illness, for normal digestion it is recommended to take Micrasim which brings the enzymes directly to the duodenum.

Nutrition in chronic pancreatitis. Diet No. 5 (version II)

The purpose of the diet: : mechanical and chemical protection of the stomach and bowel, reducing the reflex excitability of the gall bladder. Food is prepared in a strain way, steamed or baked in the oven. Dietary is divisional, 5-6 times a day.

The list of recommended products and dishes is below

Recommended:

Bread and bakery: wheat bread of 1St and 2nd grades of yesterday's baking or dried (200-300 g per day), cookies from lean dough

Soups: vegetarian, cereal soups (except wheat and corn), thick soups or mucilaginous soups with a small quantity of butter (5 g) or cream (10 g).

Meat and fish: lean kinds of meat (beef, veal, chicken, turkey, rabbit) without fascia, tendons and fat, boiled or steamed (cutlets, dumplings, meatballs, beef Stroganoff, mashed meat, soufflé, roll, etc.), in periods of remission — mild and lean meat; chicken, rabbit, turkey are allowed as a boiled piece;  low-fat varieties of fish (cod, perch, walleye, pike, etc.) in boiled way as a piece or chopped (meatballs, souffle, cutlets).

Cereal and pasta: porridge from different cereals (semolina, buckwheat, oats, barley, rice), vermicelli, pasta, strained or pasty kinds of porridge; cooked in water or mixed with milk.

Milk and dairy products: lenten curd, better homemade curd, calcinated or made from kefir (traditional fermented diary drink) in its natural form or in the form of baked puddings, sour cream and cream, mild kefir, mild cheese.

Eggs: scrambled yolkless eggs (of 2 eggs).

Vegetables: boiled vegetables and baked in a strained form (carrot, pumpkin, potatoes, cauliflower, green peas, young beans, beet).

Fats: butter unsalted butter (30 g), olive or refined sunflower oil (10-15 g) which is added to the dish.

Fruits, berries, sweets: mild baked or strined apples (without skin), strained sour compote of fresh and dried fruits, jelly, mousse from juice in the xylitol or sorbitol.

Drinks: weak tea with lemon, fruit and berry juices without sugar diluted with water, dog-rose decoction, chamomile and black currant decoctions.

Sauces: dairy weak  based on vegetable decoction , fruit and berry gravies.

Excludes: 

Strong meat, fish, mushroom soups, lardy meat and fish, saturated fats, smoked products, canned food, sausages, pickled products, marinades, spicery, mushrooms, strong tea, coffee, cocoa, chocolate, cabbage, sorrel, lettuce, garden radish, radish, turnips, beans, raw not-strined vegetables and fruits, cranberries.

Pastry and baked products, rye bread, cold food and drinks, ice cream, soda, and alcoholic drinks.

2 Gastritis and gastroduodenitis

Gastritis is an inflammation of the inner mucous layer of the stomach wall. Chronic gastritis is one of the most common GIT illnesses, it manifests itself with chronic inflammation of the mucous layer and sometimes even of the deeper layers of the stomach walls. If the illness spreads to the duodenum, there appears a duodenitis. In 75% of all cases, chronic gastritis is accompanied with chronic cholecystitis.

Chronic gastritis and gastroduodenitis is almost always accompanied by impaired discharge of bile from the gallbladder. As a result, enzyme insufficiency develops, which can be replaced with Micrasim drug.

Nutrition for gastritis and gastroduodenitis. Diet No. 1:

The purpose of the diet: moderate chemical, mechanical and thermal protection of the gastrointestinal tract while adequate nutrition, reducing inflammation, improving the healing of ulcers, the normalization of secretory and motor functions of the stomach. Strong incitants and excitants of stomach lining are limited in this diet, also hot and cold, indigestible and long detained in the stomach products are limited. Food must be strained, semi-solid and pureed, boiled in water or steamed. Diet provides moderate restriction of salt.

Recommended:

Bread and bakery products: wheat bread of 1St and 2nd grades of yesterday's baking or dried; dry biscuits, dry cookies. 1-2 times a week – well-baked lean buns; baked pies with apples, boiled meat or fish, eggs, jam, cheese.

Soups: soups of the permitted strained vegetables based on carrot, potato decoction, milk soup of strained or well-boiled cereals (oats, semolina, rice, etc.), vermicelli with adding strained vegetables, dairy cream soups of vegetables, soups of the pre-boiled chicken or meat, of strained sweet berries with semolina. Soups are dressed with butter, egg-milk mixture, cream.

Meat and poultry: low-fat meat and poultry, without tendons, fascia and birds skins. Steam and boiled dishes of beef, lean young lamb and cut pork, chicken, turkey, veal, rabbit in a sliced-form and chopped.

Low-fat fish without the skin, whole piece or in the form of cutlet mass. Boiled in water or steamed.

Milk and dairy product: Sour clotted milk, acidophilous milk. Fresh mild curd (strained) and sour cream. Curd dishes: baked cheese cakes, soufflés, dumplings, puddings. Strined mild cheese, sometimes by slices.

Eggs: Eggs - 1-2 per day soft-boiled or steam omelets.

Cereals and pasta: Semolina, rice, buckwheat, oat porridge, cooked in milk or water (semi-liquid or strained). Steam souffles, puddings, cakes of ground cereals. Noodles, pasta - finely chopped and boiled.

Vegetables: Potatoes, carrots, beets, cauliflower steamed or strained (puree, souffle, steam puddings). Not-strained early pumpkin and zucchini. Finely shredded fennel in soups. Ripe mild tomatoes (up to 100g).

Snacks: salad from boiled vegetables, meat, fish, boiled tongue, liver pate, sausages: doctor, dairy, diet. Jellied fish with vegetable decoction, sturgeon roe: sometimes soaked low-fat herring and mincemeat, mild cheese, unsalted ham without fat.

Fruits, berries, sweets: fruits and berries in strained, boiled and baked form, sweet berries and fruits in any form. Sweet dishes: mashed dishes, jelly-like drinks, mousse, jelly, sambuca-like drinks, compotes (strained), meringues, snowballs, butter cream, milk jelly-drink. Sugar, honey, sour jam, marshmallow, candy.

Sauces: dairy (béchamel) without sauted flour with the addition of butter, sour cream; fruit and milk-fruit.

Drinks: Weak tea, tea with milk and cream, weak cocoa and coffee (unnatural) with milk. Sweet juices from fruits and berries. Dog-rose decoction.

Fats: Butter unsalted butter, melted premium cow butter.

Excludes:

Rye and any fresh bread, products of rich dough and puff pastry.

Meat and fish soups, mushroom and strong vegetable decoctions, shchi (Russian vegetable soup), borscht (red-beet soup), okroshka (cold soup with vegetables and cooked meat) .

Fatty and stringy meat and poultry, duck, goose, canned meats. Fatty, salty, smoked fish, canned food.

Dairy products with high acidity, spicy salted cheese. Sour cream is limited.

Eggs, hard boiled and fried.

Millet, pearl barley, peeled barley, corn cereals, legumes, whole pasta.

Cabbage, turnips, rutabaga, radish, sorrel, spinach, onions, cucumbers, salted, pickled and marinated vegetables, mushrooms, vegetable snackbars canned food.

Spicy and salty snacks, canned food, smoked dishes.

Sour, not enough ripe, fiber-rich fruits and berries, not strained dried fruit, chocolate, ice cream. Limited: dill, parsley, vanillin, cinnamon.

Meat, fish, mushroom, tomato sauces, horseradish, mustard, pepper.

Carbonated drinks, kvass (rye bread drink), black coffee.

3 Chronic cholecystitis

Chronic cholecystitis is an inflammatory illness of the gallbladder wall. Liver regularly discharges the bile, necessary for digestion process, which is a rather caustic substance, taking part in dissolving proteins and fats. When discharge and proper movement of bile is impaired for some reason, it irritates and damages the walls of the gallbladder, and the inflammatory process starts.

Scheme of treatment for the chronic cholecystitis includes several groups of medications and is aimed at eliminating the main symptoms of the illness and at normalization of the work of gastro-intestinal tract. To replace the insufficient enzymes and to restore the normal digestion process, regular intake of Micrasim is recommended.

Diet in chronic cholecystitis. Diet № 5

The purpose of the diet: chemical protection of the liver in terms of adequta nutrition, assistance to normalization of liver and biliary tract, improving bile secretion. Products with high content of lipotropic substances, cellulose, pectin, liquid are recommended. Contraindicated foods which are rich in nitrogenous extractive substances, purines, cholesterol, oxalic acid and products of fat oxidation that occurs when roasting. Dishes are boiled, baked, sometimes stewed. Only stringy meat and fiber-rich vegetables are strained; flour and vegetables are not sauteed. Very cold dishes are excluded. Dietary regime: 5-6 times a day.

Soups: Vegetables, cereal with vegetable decoction, milky with pasta, fruit soups, borscht and vegeterian schci, beetroot. Flour and vegetables for the filling are not fried, but dried.

Meat and poultry: low-fat or nonfat, without fascia and tendons, poultry without skin. Beef, lean young lamb, pork meat, rabbit, chicken, turkey. Boiled, baked after boiling, whole and chopped. Cabbage rolls with meat, rice with boiled meat. Sausages.

Fish: low-fat kinds. Boiled, baked after boiling, the whole piece in the quenelle-form, meatballs, soufflé. Excluded from the diet: fatty species, smoked, salted fish, canned fish.

Dairy products: Milk, kefir (traditional fermented diary drink), acidophilus milk, yogurt; sour cream - as a seasoning for dishes; low-fat and non-fat curd and curd-based dishes (casseroles, dumplings, puddings, etc.). Mild, low-fat cheese. Eggs: Baked yolkless omelet. To 1 yolk per day in meals. In case of intolerability take soft-boiled egg in the omelette form. Exclude from the diet: boiled eggs and fried. In case of  gallstone disease - to 1/2 egg yolks a day.

Cereals: Any dishes from different cereals, especially buckwheat and oatmeal. Pilaf with dried fruit, carrots, puddings with carrots and cheese, buckwheat pudding. Boiled pasta.

Vegetables: Various raw, boiled, stewed as salads, side dishes, self-consistent dishes. Sour pickled cabbage, onions after boiling, mashed green peas.

Snacks: fresh vegetable salad with vegetable oil, fruit salads, vinaigrettes, squash caviar, jellied fish (after boiling), soaked low-fat herring, stuffed fish, seafood salads, boiled fish and meat salads; doctor, dairy, dietary sausage, lean ham, mild and low-fat cheese.

Fruits, berries, sweets:  variety of fruits and berries (except sour) - raw, boiled, baked. Dried fruits. Compotes, jelly-kind drinks, jelly, mousses, sambuca-kind drinks. Meringues, snowballs. Marmalade, non-chocolate candies, marchmallow, honey, jam. Sugar is partly replaced with xylitol (sorbitol).

Sauces: sour cream, dairy, vegetables, sweet fruit gravy. The flour is not passer an. Dill, parsley; vanilla, cinnamon.

Drinks: Tea, coffee, milk, fruit, berry and vegetable juices, dog-rose and wheat bran decoctions. Exclude from the diet: black coffee, cocoa, cold drinks.

Fats: butter as it comes and in dishes, vegetable refined oils.

Excludes:

Very fresh bread, puff pastry, fried pies.

Meat, fish and mushroom broth ,okroshka (cold kvass soup with vegetables and cooked meat), green schci.

Fatty meats, duck, goose, liver, kidneys, brains, smoked, most sausages, canned.

Legumes.

Spicy and fatty snacks, smoked, canned, caviar.

Spinach, sorrel, radish, radish, green onion, garlic, mushroom, pickled vegetables.

Chocolate, cream products, ice cream.

Mustard, horseradish, pepper.

Pork, beef, mutton lard, cooking fat.

Restrict: cream, 6% fat milk, fermented baked milk, sour cream, fat curd, salty and fatty cheese.

4 Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and cramps

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is one of the most common problems of the digestive system; approximately every fifth person on the planet has it. It is twice more likely to be found in women. The syndrome may be manifesting itself as bloating, spasm of the intestine, cramps, gas, diarrhea or constipation, and causes lots of discomfort.

IBS cannot be completely eliminated, but with increase of physical activity, proper diet and the use of Micrasim drug in the complex therapy may significantly diminish its unpleasant occasions.

Diet for the irritated bowel syndrome. Diet 3

The aim of the diet: to normalize the compromised intestinal function and associated metabolism problems. Products and meals, which promote fermentation and putrefaction and which have bad influence on other digestion organs (rich in fats, fried, etc) should be eliminated. The food is cooked in whole pieces, in water, steam-boiled or baked. Vegetables and fruit are eaten raw. The diet includes cold soups and deserts, drinks. There are 4-6 meals a day. In the morning it is advised to take cold water with honey of fruit and vegetable juice; in the night: buttermilk, stewed fresh or dry fruit, fresh fruit, and plums.

Bread and pastry: Wheat bread made of 2nd class flour, bread with grains and fibers, if tolerated – rye bread. Day old bread should be used. Cookies without butter, dry biscuits. Bakeries with fruit and berries in limited amounts.

Soups: broth of no-fat meat, fish, not strong, vegetable broth. Mostly vegetable soups (borsch, cabbage soup, beet root soup), with barley, fruit.

Meat and poultry: no-fat meats of different kinds, chicken, turkey – boiled, baked as one piece, rarely cut. Milk sausages. No fat fish. In one piece – boiled or baked. Seafood.Milk products, products with milk. Sour milk products. Cottage cheese and meals with it: pudding, cheese ravioli, pies, porridge. Cream. Mild cheese. Sour cream with dishes.

Eggs: up to 2 a day. Scrambled, steam omelets, egg-white omelets in dishes.

Cereals and pasta: Mostly dry boiled cereals and casseroles of buckwheat, millet, wheat, barley boiled in water with milk.

Vegetables: beet root, carrot, tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkin, cauliflower – raw and boiled for side-dish, for casserole. Cabbage and sweet peas – boiled in case of tolerance.

Appetizers: salads of raw vegetables and vinaigrettes with vegetable oil, vegetable grate, fruit salads. Mild cheese, no-fat ham, non-salty herring, meat and fish in jelly.

Fruit, sweet dishes and deserts: fresh, ripe, sweet fruit and raw berries, in large amounts and in dishes. Dry fruit soaked and in dishes (plums, dried apricots, raisins, fig). Honey, preserves, marmalade, marshmallow and milk caramel.

Souses and spices: with the use of not strong meat and fish broth, tomato souse, milk souse, rarely – sour cream and fruit souse. Dill, parsley, celery, bay leaf.

Drinks: tea and coffee replacements. Hips and wheat bran tea, fruit and vegetable juice (plums, apricots, carrots, tomatoes).

Fats: Butter. Vegetable oils – in dishes.

Excluded:

Hi class flour bread, puff and butter pastry.

Radish, black radish, garlic, onions, turnips, mushrooms.

Fat fish, preserves with fish.

Boiled and fried eggs.

Rice, cream of wheat, sago, vermicelli, beans.

Fat meats, duck, goose, smocked meat, preserves.

Fat and spicy foods, smocked foods.
